This study pretends to show a view of the Spanish versions of different
medical and encyclopaedic medieval texts with the intention of analyzing
the attitude of the translators, and sometimes of the authors themselves, in the
transmission of the contents. It focuses, above all, on the linguistic resources
used in order to achieve the comprehensibility intended, despite the lexical
and semantic difficulties which, in that time, the translation of such texts
implied, and also in the translation of the technical terms.
