Bibliotecas y hemerotecas digitales en el NDHE

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the importance of the
use of digital libraries and newspaper archives in the NDHE; particularly, the pre-eminence of this type of repository is demonstrated in the contribution of the first testimonies documented since 1700, against other resources, such as those taken from corpus or lexicographic treasures. On the other hand, it is shown that the use of these documentary sources, conditioned by their accessibility, causes, among other effects, certain distortions in the representation of the dialectal vitality of Spanish.
