La voz castellana virus: anotaciones para un estudio lexicográfico y documental en ensayos humanísticos y obras de creación literaria

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to make a historical review of the Castilian word virus in different humanistic documents, from its first testimonies until the first half of the 20th century. We also take as sources of information the different academic lexicographical repertoires in which their meanings are recorded and we check whether the definitions presented in the successive editions run parallel or close to the meanings recorded in the corpora.
