This article examines the lexicon of the trades and profes-sions from a corpus of 15th century documents in the region of Ávila (Spain). After describing the corpus, it is explained how participants are presented in these documents and then trades and professions are ex-plained. In the second part, the apprenticeship contracts' lexis is present-ed, along with a short inventory dealing with junior trades' everyday clothing. Lastly, there is a revision of a few documents related with con-struction and goldsmith contracts, with focus on technical terms, some of which have been lost, others preserved to this day, and some can be found in documentations.
