This work presents a selection of forgottenmedieval Spanish words
whose history can be traced in the manuscripts kept in the Monasterio de
Yuso Library, in San Millán de la Cogolla. The selected items show the long
way we have to pursue in order to know the history and etymology of the
medieval Spanish vocabulary, pending task to achieve a guaranteed interpretation
of medieval Castilian documents and literary works.
