During the 16th century, the scientific literature suffers a remarkable
boom, also concerning the mathematics applied to various technical
disciplines, in a stage of great development, from a linguistic as well
as a scientific point of view. Geometry provides its principles to technicians
and artists to develop complex projects and to carry out numerous works.
In short, the geometric science becomes a paradigm of useful, true and
sure knowledge, as we see in the scientific literature. With this wide
and valuable research field, we aim to achieve a broad understanding of
the Applied Geometry lexicon in the Renaissance.
