El léxico en los procesos de dialectalización del español americano: el caso de la bolivia andina.

Abstract

After analyzing the meaning of dialectalization and some
issues concerning the concept of americanismo (words typical of
Latin-American Spanish), this paper presents a group of words that
appear in 18th century Bolivian documentation and which may be
considered as americanismos. The paper offers two general conclusions:
it suggests not only that some processes of dialectalization
have already happened by this time, but also that there are already
some differences between the two linguistic regions of the country
with regard to americanismos.
